Limited edition apparel and accessories inspired by Colt 45’s leading man are now available in the Cornerstore on workseverytime.com
The Billy Dee Collection includes a fedora, sunglasses, and wallet inspired by the man himself, Billy Dee Williams.
iheartcomix has been putting on parties since the invention of the turntable (maybe that’s a bit of an exaggeration, but chances are if you live in LA you’ve been to an iheartcomix inspired event).
A few months ago, at one such event, we were enjoying a few 16oz cans of Colt, when out of nowhere a giant pink boogie monster jumped out and lit up the dance floor. Well we thought we had seen it all, until this month’s installment from iheartcomix where that same monster gave birth to a newborn (no joke).
Shadowscene was nice enough to let us use some photos from the event. Check ‘em out.
I’m getting even more excited about this event as it’s coming together. Try to picture the 12 members of Budos Band rocking out on a loading dock for a stage. To their side will be See One, creating artwork live- inspired by the music and the moment.
Bisco Smith is busy right now putting some of the other art pieces together and photographer Sam Horine is getting his selections ready for the gallery display.
With performances from Monogold, The Stationary Set, DJ Mikey Palms and Budos Band I think we’re in for a very fun afternoon. We kick things off at 3pm and rock to about 8:30-9.
The Secret Theatre is less than 2 blocks from the Court Square/45th Ave subway station, where you have the 7, G, E, V and R trains. It’s the first stop in Queens from Manhattan, and just 2 stops from Greenpoint.
See you there tomorrow!!

It’s 3:45AM. A few friends are sitting around enjoying an early breakfast (really late dinner) at Fred 62 when someone plops this down on the table.
Just an ordinary wallet. What’s the deal?
Okay, awesome, there’s some cool art sketch inside…still not sure why…
Whoa! Very nice.
Secret Colt pocket – nice touch.
Be sure to order from the online Colt catalog – wait, scratch that, this sucker is one of a kind.
